The Northern Dutchess Hospital Foundation

The Northern Dutchess Hospital Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization, operates in order to enhance the mission of Health Quest, which is to deliver exceptional healthcare to the communities it serves by pursuing the highest standards of quality, safety, service and compassion. We accomplish this for Northern Dutchess Hospital and the Thompson House by raising funds, securing philanthropic gifts and planning events to increase the community's awareness of all the services we have to offer.

Since opening its doors in 1930, Northern Dutchess Hospital has been providing much needed medical care to the residents of northern Dutchess County and beyond. Our hospital has been recognized as a state-of-the-art healthcare facility with a highly skilled, patient-oriented clinical team. Through our most recent Capital Campaign, we partnered with the community to raise $10 million that helped build the new Martin and Toni Sosnoff Pavilion with 40 private patient rooms, six operating suites and beautiful physician office space. Having cutting-edge technology and programs is essential to ensuring our patients receive the highest quality care. Through the generosity of the community, philanthropy will continue to play a key role in serving the healthcare needs of local residents for many years to come.

The Northern Dutchess Hospital Foundation is proud to work with the NDH Auxiliary, serving the hospital since 1931. The annual Employee Giving Campaign is always a huge success through the generosity of our own staff, at every level.

We welcome inquiries as to how you can be involved! You can reach the foundation office at 845-871-3140.

2020 Events

The caregivers at Northern Dutchess Hospital are demonstrating remarkable courage, resilience and commitment while meeting challenges related to overflowing ICUs, disrupted supply chains and modified staffing levels due to COVID-19. As we fight the COVID-19 pandemic, we are banding together and finding creative solutions to the challenges at hand and ahead.

In light of the pandemic, Northern Dutchess Hospital has made the difficult decision to cancel all of our 2020 events including our signature fund-raisers that bring much-needed revenue to our hospitals each year.

Considering these challenging times, we respectfully ask for your support when the demands on our healthcare system are immediate and growing. While we are not hosting our events this year, we invite you to reallocate any donations you intended to make to our events to Northern Dutchess Hospital’s Emergency Preparedness/COVID-19 efforts by clicking here

Your tax-deductible donation will allow us to continue to be ready to respond to the pandemic by helping to build our reserves of supplies, equipment and supporting our team in their tireless efforts to care for you and your loved ones.
