The Northern Dutchess Hospital Foundation

The Northern Dutchess Hospital Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization, operates in order to enhance the mission of Health Quest, which is to deliver exceptional healthcare to the communities it serves by pursuing the highest standards of quality, safety, service and compassion. We accomplish this for Northern Dutchess Hospital and the Thompson House by raising funds, securing philanthropic gifts and planning events to increase the community's awareness of all the services we have to offer.

Since opening its doors in 1930, Northern Dutchess Hospital has been providing much needed medical care to the residents of northern Dutchess County and beyond. Our hospital has been recognized as a state-of-the-art healthcare facility with a highly skilled, patient-oriented clinical team. Through our most recent Capital Campaign, we partnered with the community to raise $10 million that helped build the new Martin and Toni Sosnoff Pavilion with 40 private patient rooms, six operating suites and beautiful physician office space. Having cutting-edge technology and programs is essential to ensuring our patients receive the highest quality care. Through the generosity of the community, philanthropy will continue to play a key role in serving the healthcare needs of local residents for many years to come.

The Northern Dutchess Hospital Foundation is proud to work with the NDH Auxiliary, serving the hospital since 1931. The annual Employee Giving Campaign is always a huge success through the generosity of our own staff, at every level.

We welcome inquiries as to how you can be involved! You can reach the foundation office at 845-871-1711.

2020 Signature Events: Save the Dates

Nuvance Health is actively managing coronavirus (COVID-19) while maintaining business as usual at our hospitals and medical practices. The health system has now temporarily put limits on the number of people who can gather for meetings, seminars, and other events. Because our concern for the health of our community remains at the core of our mission, we are now taking the same degree of caution regarding Foundation activities over the next few weeks.

Please revisit this site to track the status of any event scheduled from now through May; we will monitor the COVID-19 situation as it develops, and make decisions on the basis of safety concerns closer to the time of each event.

Thanks for your patience as we negotiate our way through the coming weeks.
