Northern Dutchess Hospital participates in most managed care plans. Private health insurance and Medicare are also accepted.

We will verify insurance coverage prior to starting your therapy and will work with your insurer to guarantee the greatest degree of coverage. However, it is ultimately your responsibility to be aware of your coverage. Contact your carrier if you have any questions or concerns.

Hand Therapy

Certified hand therapists are an integral part of the Northern Dutchess Hospital rehabilitation team. Hand therapists work with patients who have a wide range of conditions, including fractures, tendonitis, amputations, arthritis, repetitive stress and nerve injuries, and focus on treatments that aim to both rehabilitate the injury and prevent future ones. For more information, see Orthopedic Rehabilitation.
