Triathlon competitor and former U.S. Army Medical Corps. Major, Dr. Scott Costley, is Health Quest Medical Practice’s newest primary care physician in Rhinebeck.

A resident of Rosendale, he is board certified in family medicine and treats adults, children and infants.

“I’m excited to join a practice with a like-minded team that is committed to high-quality care, which includes taking time to listen to patient concerns,” Costley said.

Since 1997, Costley has been a family medicine physician. He spent almost a decade with Hudson Valley Family Physicians in Rosendale. He spent six years with Bridge Street Family Medicine in Saugerties and four years with the U.S. Army’s Guthrie Health Care Clinic in Fort Drum, N.Y.

Costley’s residency was completed at Womack Army Medical Center at Fort Bragg, N.C. He holds a doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Outside the office, he enjoys competing in triathlons and deep-water scuba diving. He also volunteers as an assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 17.

The primary care office is on the campus of Northern Dutchess Hospital, 6511 Springbrook Ave. Reach the office at 845-876-4432 (TTY 800-421-1220). For information, visit www.healthquest.org/primarycare
