Poodle skirts and slicked-back hair will be all the rage at the Northern Dutchess Hospital’s ’50s -themed Cancer Survivors Day celebration at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, June 2, in the hospital’s cafeteria, 6511 Springbrook Ave.

There will be ice cream sundaes, soda floats, music and other activities. All are welcome, including anyone with cancer, family, friends and care providers.

This is an annual, national event that brings people together to share their stories, connect with other survivors, celebrate milestones and recognize support networks.

Northern Dutchess will also celebrate the one-year anniversary of its chemotherapy infusion center opening and the addition of Dr. Alfonso Cutugno, medical oncologist, to its medical staff.

For information, contact NDH Chemotherapy Infusion Center Director Maylen Rodriguez at 845-871-4397 (TTY: TTY: 800-421-1220).
