New family physician offers care in Ulster County

Posted: 2/1/2018

A family medicine physician with experience in pediatrics and gynecology recently joined Health Quest Medical Practice and will split her time in Woodstock and Boiceville.

Dr. Anita Goodrich is board certified in family medicine and is accepting new patients, including newborns, children and adults.

She relocated to Hunter, Greene County, where she has family.

“I love this beautiful area, especially exploring nature, and I look forward to making long-lasting relationships in this community,” Goodrich said.

Prior to joining Health Quest Medical Practice, she was part of the medical group Heart and Vascular Associates of Northern New Jersey, where she worked in primary care.

While working for the group, she was an attending physician at Paterson, N.J.-based Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical.

She did her residency at Saint Joseph’s through New York Medical College. Her medical degree is from the American University of Integrated Sciences in Netherlands Antilles. She holds a bachelor’s degree in life sciences from McMaster University in Ontario, Canada.

In her spare time, Goodrich enjoys a good science-fiction thriller, gardening and knitting. She also likes to paint, and is in awe of the “many talented artists of Woodstock,” she said.
