Posted: 6/25/2019

Neurosurgeon Dr. Michael Cho has joined Health Quest Medical Practice’s Division of Neurosurgery and is accepting new patients.

He will treat patients at the City of Poughkeepsie office, 21 Reade Place, Suite 3100.

“It is both an honor and a privilege to join such an innovative health system with the resources to best serve our community,” said Cho, who is originally from Roslyn, NY, on Long Island.

Board certified in neurosurgery, Cho has practiced medicine for 20 years, 13 of which have been in the Poughkeepsie area. He most recently served as associate director of neurosurgery at MidHudson Regional Hospital, part of Westchester Medical Center, in Poughkeepsie.

He received his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine, part of NYU Langone Health in Manhattan, and went on to complete his general surgical internship and neurosurgical residency at New York University School of Medicine.

Cho lives in Hopewell Junction with two children and wife, who is also a physician. Outside of work, Cho enjoys many sports and spending time with his family.
