Posted: 6/1/2015

Health Quest Medical Practice’s newly opened Modena office will be led by Dr. Francis Mayle, a family practice physician with more than three decades of experience.

New patients from newborns to seniors are welcome at the office, at 2044 Route 32, which was formerly Modena Family Practice. Mayle started his private practice in 1984, after he graduated from

Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. and completed his residency at West Jersey Hospital in Voorhees, N.J. He has held various leadership and community roles, such as Ulster County’s medical examiner, a Rotarian of the Southern Ulster Club and board member of the Bardavon, to name a few.

“As a Health Quest Medical Practice physician, I am able to spend more time with my patients, and provide them greater access to care, should they need a specialist, hospitalization or wish to view their medical records online,” Mayle said.

Board certified nurse practitioner Dawn Dooley also joined Health Quest Medical Practice’s Modena office. Since 2000, she worked for Modena Family Practice. Prior to that, she was a junior high school nurse in Newburgh and a high-risk obstetrics nurse at Westchester County medical center. She holds a master’s degree in nursing from Pace University in Westchester and a bachelor’s from Messiah College in Grantham, Pa.
