Health Quest Medical Practice’s Kingston Plaza location expands access to healthcare

Health Quest Medical Practice’s new $1.8 million medical center in Kingston Plaza at 334 Plaza Road brings multiple health services under one roof to further improve access to healthcare for the community.

The practice’s Kingston-based offices of obstetrics and gynecology, primary care and rheumatology recently relocated to the attractive facility on a visible plaza corner that is convenient to shopping and close to public transportation. Formerly scattered in older buildings on Maiden Lane and Albany and Hurley avenues, these medical staff have relocated to the plaza:

  • Drs. Dean Bloch, Kimberly Henderson, Meredith McDowell and Ely Nathan as well as midwives Julie Denney, Suzanne Berger and Shaye Arnold and nurse practitioner Jeanne Valentine-Chase from the obstetrics-gynecology division.
  • Drs. Kelly DerCola, Lee Isabell and Eric Stamberg offering primary care.
  • Rheumatology specialist Dr. James Wise.

“Our physicians and staff are so proud and excited to offer compassionate care to our community in this state-of-the-art medical office building,” said Glenn Loomis, president of Health Quest Medical Practice. “Having our many physicians in the plaza means our patients have access to primary care, specialists and a phlebotomist for blood work all in one location, which will enhance the overall patient experience.”

The 15,000-square-foot office features a two-story spacious lobby, a centralized registration and a comfortable waiting area with modern conveniences such as free WiFi and smart televisions.

Thirty patient exam rooms maximize privacy and efficient bedside care. For obstetrics patients, there are ultrasound and non-stress test procedure rooms plus six parking spaces for expectant mothers. The renovation of the vacant tenant space in the plaza began in September and took about five months to complete.

The community is invited to enjoy tours, refreshment and giveaways between 4-6 p.m. on March 14, after a ribbon cutting hosted by the Ulster County Regional Chamber of Commerce.
