Health Quest Medical Practice’s $8M construction project under way in Lloyd

Posted: 12/21/2017

Starting in late 2018, Health Quest Medical Practice will open a multispecialty office on Route 299 between Highland and New Paltz.

Construction began in late October on a facility where patients can see providers in a spacious, modern and comfortable environment.

To make way for the 15,000 square feet of space, HQMP bought a 5.6-acre property at 514-520 Route 299, revitalizing the parcel where a vacant building stood. The site is a short distance from Lowe's home improvement store.

The HQMP medical office will house providers who offer primary care, obstetrics, gynecology, cardiology and neurology. Patients will also be able to make follow-up appointments after surgery for their convenience.

HQMP will invest $8 million in the project to provide nearby communities enhanced access to physicians and healthcare services. "HQMP has shown our commitment to being Ulster County's top healthcare provider, with the construction of our Lloyd center and the addition of HQMP in Kingston Plaza in 2016," HQMP President Dr. Glenn Loomis said. "With these state-of-the-art facilities, we can recruit top-notch primary-care providers and specialists into the community and embrace medical innovations, which ultimately improve the health and wellness of the people we serve."
