Posted: 10/10/2017

Endocrinologist Dr. Tanya Thompson-Badamosi recently joined the Health Quest Medical Practice primary care office in Hyde Park.

“I have a passion for providing patient-centered care, and I look forward to treating patients close to home,” Thompson-Badamosi said.

Endocrinology is the study of the endocrine system, a series of glands that produce hormones for various functions, such as metabolism and growth. Endocrinologists diagnose and treat diseases caused by complications with hormones.

She completed her internal medicine residency and endocrinology fellowship at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn. She earned her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies.

She is board certified in endocrinology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is also a fellow of the American College of Endocrinology and a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists.

The primary care office is at 4068 Albany Post Road, Hyde Park, and be reached at 845-229-2123 (TTY: 1-800-421-1220). For more information, visit www.healthquest.org/primarycare.
