Family medicine doctor joins Modena’s Health Quest Medical Practice

Posted: 3/8/2016

Family medicine physician Dr. Lorraine Allegro-Skinner recently rejoined Health Quest Medical Practice and sees patients in the Modena primary care office at 2044 Route 32.

Allegro-Skinner of Middletown has about 20 years of family medicine experience and has cared for patients of all ages in various settings. She’s worked in physician offices, hospitals and urgent care centers – even at a Chippewa-Cree reservation for six years.

She has held board certification since 1998 and has traveled extensively to gain experience, working as a temporary physician in Australia, Arizona, Montana and Massachusetts.

“No matter where I practiced medicine, patients all wanted the same thing – a doctor to listen to and care about them. That is the same across the world,” she said. “I’m excited about joining a practice that has a reputation for providing the great care that all patients want from their doctors.”

From 2011 until 2014, Allegro-Skinner saw patients at Health Quest Medical Practice’s primary care Hopewell Junction office, and spent the past two years at the Greater Hudson Valley Health System in Sullivan County.

Her post-graduate residency training was completed at Brown University in Rhode Island. She holds a doctor of medicine degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City.
