Nutritional Counseling
Nutritional counseling is a vital component of maintaining good health as well as recovering from illness or managing a condition. Nutrition is a crucial component in treating all kinds of medical conditions among which are obesity, bariatric, cancer, diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, and triglycerides, metabolic syndrome, eating disorders, food allergies, gastrointestinal disease (celiac, colitis, Crohn’s, irritable bowel syndrome), arthritis, pregnancy, renal disease and heart disease.
Services
Registered dietitians (RDs) and certified-dietitian nutritionists (CDNs) provide nutritional counseling. Using Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT), they monitor body weight, assist with meal planning and provide recommendations for dietary interventions.
Services are also personalized for each patient and take into consideration several factors, including medical history, family history, habits and lifestyle. There is no perfect way of eating that works for everyone, so they aim to customize a workable plan that sets every patient up for success.
Health Quest offers specialized counseling covering a range of conditions and nutrition goals:
